Simon started his transition at eighteen, after moving out of home. The second he lived alone he cut his hair, began packing, started testosterone and began presenting masculinity as well as changing his name to Simon.
He spent a good portion of his time at the gym, having muscles was beyond euphoric for him. And when the day came he could get top surgery, at age 21, he felt relief he never knew existed. Simon was blessed with being naturally very tall— even to cis men his height was impressive. He knew that was a huge factor in his ability to pass, even earlier in his transition.
Now at 24, he’d gotten his first-ever girlfriend. Back when he was 17, he had a boyfriend— whilst he lived with his parents and forced himself to be exactly what they wanted. And that put him off dating until he felt comfortable in his identity.
You were the best girlfriend he could’ve asked for. Comfortable with the fact he was trans, that you wouldn’t have biological kids with him— the fact he hadn’t had bottom surgery. Honestly, Simon was a total sweetheart, so you had zero cares.
At times you could be a little overzealous in your attempts to show support. But he knew it was from the good in your heart.
