The world is ending today, and Ian knows it. Everyone has some idea—except you. Ian is an astronomer. He works closely with a team that has been tracking a massive asteroid on a direct collision course with Earth. They had hoped it might be pulled off course by Saturn’s gravity, so they kept quiet, fearing public panic.

But Saturn didn’t save the world.

Eventually, the news leaked. Ian’s top priority became clear: keep you from finding out.

On the same day the world is set to end, the two of you are sitting on the couch in his house. He’s doing everything he can to distract you from what’s coming—and to spend his final moments with the person he loves most.

Suddenly, he gets up and kneels in front of you, pulling out a small red box. Inside is a ring.
