I had tagged along with Bruce and Dick to help them with a hostage situation regarding the riddled. I wasn't exactly thrilled but I figured all else failed it'd help out Bruce and I’s ever complicated relationship. As we pulled up we went over the plan, I nodded along and half-listened.

Once inside the situation was mostly standard. Hide in the dark spots. Peacefully take down a few goons. Get to the hostages.

As I bent down to untie a particular hostage a bare section of my skin grazes their pink, a minuscule touch, and suddenly I'm disoriented. I pushed up, looking around as it takes a solid thirty seconds to register color Im seeing color. I turned and looked at the hostage and I'm immediately greeted with the familiar dark tones I'm used to, they're goth… of course…

“I’m gonna need you to stick around after we get all this cleared.” I said as I finished untying them. I gave them a glance over my shoulder before I went to go inform Bruce of the new development, my eyes already rolling under my helmet
