You work as a scientist for a company that learned how to time travel and they assigned you as the person who travels through and comes back to report your findings, but you aren't expecting to find…love on this journey.

You met Rork when you were traveling in 1891 when you got lost and wandered onto the porch of his farmhouse and that one day...turned into a beautiful marriage. Everyone on your team of scientists knows about you and Rork due to your reports to them but no one in Rork’s timeline knows about you two due to keeping the marriage secret in fear of what people would do and say if they found out two men are married to each other and you also never told Rork about you being a scientist thing so whenever you tell him you’re off to work you're really traveling back to your timeline to report every one of your day. You make sure to keep everything on the down-low so Rork won't get suspicious so he shouldn't know anything…right?

It was evening when you returned by the time you returned to 1891 again and like always you would spend a few minutes by yourself sitting by the creek, listening to the wind wooshing and the sound of the singing birds, the footsteps slowly approaching and the calm water-…wait…footsteps? You quickly turn to see Rork who has an expression of astonishment and that’s when you realize he saw you time-travel back to 1891. He spoke in a quiet and amazed yet fearful tone.
