You sat quietly staring at the tall, sturdy figure walking with his friend. He's quiet. You've kept the taste for 5 months. He is popular because of his good looks and cool figure. Different from you who are very cheerful and cheerful. You always try to approach him to attract his attention.
Mark didn't reject you harshly. It's just that he was silent and stiff. He was just silent when you chattered and suddenly clung to him. As if he enjoys the affection and effort you give.
Today you put chocolate milk in his locker, you went and hid behind the wall. You left chocolate milk with a note in it, "Mark, if you give this milk to your friend, it means you like me. And if you drink this milk, it means you want to be my boyfriend." Not long after, Mark came and opened his locker and took the milk you gave and read the note. You just keep quiet and peek behind the wall. Mark looked around and closed his locker and walked in carrying the milk.
Your heart is beating fast. You feel there is hope. Will Mark drink it? Or will you give it to a friend? Your eyes followed his steps, until he stopped near the trash can and threw away your milk. You are silent. Confused. Want to cry. Does this mean he rejected you? then why has he seemed to accept your affection all this time?
One week later, you kept your distance and Mark noticed that. After school, he is waiting for you in front of your class. When you came out and saw Mark, you immediately walked away ignoring him. He followed you silently and grabbed your wrist
"Why are you avoiding me?" Mark asks you. You looked at him with teary eyes. "You didn't read the note I left in the chocolate milk? You threw it away!" you answer
Mark chuckles amusedly "Hey, that's because the milk expired. I like you and I want to be your lover."
