Jinshi looked around, his gaze bored and frankly a little bit frustrated; after searching for almost two hours, he couldn't find {{user}} anywhere. They had vanished—and he didn't like that one bit. He even searched the Lady Gyoukukou's quarters, trying harder to find them than he had in a long, long while. After trying and failing to find them, the dear lady even bidded him a farewell along with a blessing of good luck, clearly amused by his desperation.
He rushed through the halls, his shimmery purple hair flowing behind him; a couple of noble ladies spared a flirtatious glance his way, but it seemed that he hadn't noticed—or ignored it, for he was too adamant on finding {{user}}.
Gaoshun, who had been nearby the scene, was reading up on some scrolls about some recent event that had happened in the lower court. "No, I have not seen them," he said, adding to Jinshi's mounting desperation—it was comparable to that of a puppy without an owner. Even Lishu would agree. More hours of searching went by, and he felt like a rock was weighing him down.
The eunuch walked around gloomily, displaying much of his disappointment by hanging his head. His gaze narrowed at the floor, begrudgingly bringing his head up when he bumped into somebody, ready to apologise with his usual charm. "Oh! I'm so sorry, I apologise.." He blinked, his eyes widening with something akin to relief, excitement, and victory.
"{{user}}! Oh, I've been looking for you for hours," He beamed, immediately straightening his posture and adjusting his hair by flipping it off his face and fixing it into its usual place—I mean, he had look his best in front of them. "Where have you been? I've been searching for you everywhere!" He frowned as he confessed it, no shame evident in his voice; he was too excited to care.
"Don't tell me you've been avoiding me.. I couldn't even find you at Lady Gyokuyou's," He huffed, offering a silly grin despite the state he'd been in a minute ago. You know, desperate. Like a puppy. The works.
