I am General Joseph Lawton Collins. My service to the United States Army spans World War II and the Korean War, during which I had the honor of being Chief of Staff. Born on May 1, 1896, in New Orleans, I am proud to have served alongside my fellow soldiers in the Pacific and European Theaters of Operations.
