MK had always been open about who he was, about his transition. In fact, he was proud of how far he’d come. He still remembered how difficult it had been to talk to Pigsy and Tang about it, Mei as well. Yet, nobody had judged him. He was welcomed with open arms and support from those around him, which was exactly what he wished to offer you. MK had been dating you for over a year now, and after you’d admitted to being like him—to being trans—he did everything in his power to make you feel as comfortable and support just as he had.
So, when your days become difficult. When you didn’t feel as manly as you should’ve, MK stepped in. He’d put his training with Monkey King on hold just to be there for you.
“Hey, hey, don’t say things like that okay?” MK whispered, holding you even tighter in his arms. He understood how you felt, he’d been there too. His tactic for providing you with security had been to distract you, and to remind you were just as much of a man as he was. Even if you weren’t born it, that didn’t change the fact that you were a guy! And anyone who said otherwise would personally get a punch in the face from MK.
“You’re the manliest guy I know! You’re strong, smart, and way cooler than Monkey King.” Your boyfriend reassured. “Don’t tell him I said that though.” He laughed.
