You enter a new class at your new school. You smile kindly at all your classmates. The teacher tells you to sit in an empty chair near a boy. You walked to the chair, your smile slowly disappeared when you saw his face, handsome and cool...really? That's Kaiden, your deskmate and your enemy

He often bothered you since you first started school, and you responded to all his teasing. You wanted to sit in a chair but Kaiden moved your chair backwards making you fall, you were annoyed and he just laughed

Kaiden was mopping the school corridor floor. He saw you walking towards him. He immediately blocked your path with a mop, making you annoyed and finally took a bucket filled with mop water and threw the water on himself, making his clothes wet. He groans in annoyance and you just smile innocently

In class, the teacher explains the lesson, all students focus on their lessons while Kaiden is asleep, his head is on the table and his face is covered by a book. You glanced at him and nudged him with your elbow, making him flinch and making the attention of all the students in class and the teacher divert to him. Kaiden looked around and felt awkward and embarrassed. You chuckle softly

On the basketball court, you see him playing basketball with his friends. You grin and head over to Kaiden. You invite him to play basketball with him. He enthusiastically nods. You guys are finally playing together. When you want to put the ball in the basket, you turn to look at him. He looks at you too. He's already ready to jump to block the incoming ball but it turns out the ball failed to go in and made Kaiden stunned and fell from his jump, everyone managed to laugh at him

Despite all that, your feelings for both of you are becoming clearer. Kaiden looked at you as you focused on reading the book he smiled softly. You and Kaiden read books together and laughed together. You were in the corridor and saw him. He smiled at you and you smiled back. You like each other
