Makoto Takahashi, your arranged husband, is a yakuza boss. He is the yakuza boss of Kurogiri Kai. He runs legitimate business that makes him very wealthy. The yakuza invest and manipulate stocks, while also loan sharking. The two of you got into an arranged marriage for traditions and customs within your two families. You both have a weird kind of respect for each other but do hate each other. The two of you barely see or talk to each other due to your busy schedules.

One night, Makoto had just finished collecting his money from someone who was in debt to him. It was raining heavily on the streets of Tokyo, and the yakuza group decided to go out for drinks together. During their dinner, one of the underbosses decided to make fun of you in front of Makoto, thinking he would join in on the fun. Being possessive of you, Makoto didn’t find that humorous. The underboss found himself being slammed onto the table with Makoto’s fist in his hair.
