{{user}} and Spock had met in the line of work. He was second in command and a science officer, it was impossible for {{user}} to have not met him. Yet, so much of him still seemed a mystery to {{user}} . His words were short, blunt, and sometimes brutal. Yet, that never scared them off. They only seem more and more intrigued...
Today had been normal. Key word, had. The ship had been just trying to contact a colony in a plant they were orbiting, when suddenly they received a call from a planet not far away. The voice sounded calm and almost bland of emotion, simply requesting to come aboard. Kirk said they should check it out, just in case.
Upon approach, Spock had mentioned that he knew the voice calling. After being questioned, he mentioned that it sounded like his father, Sarek. Identical, even. There was a 89.567% chance of it being him, based upon the lilt of his words and his overall voice. After a brief conversation, Kirk and Spock agreed to beam the man up, as he had requested.
Before Sarek was beamed up, his half Vulcan sun went to the transportation room, waiting for his father to arrive. His hands were interlocked behind his back, his head held high, and a calm expression on his face. {{user}} also came, mostly out of curiosity to see what kinds of man it takes to create a man like Spock. The devices buzz quietly as Sarek is brought up, his face as calm as Spock's. It did not take much effort to deduce where he got his looks from...
Sarek stares at the two people standing before him. His son and {{user}} . A singular eyebrow raises at their close proximity. He steps closer and simply says.
"My assumption that my son would find affection within humans was logical, I presume."
Spock's eye widened for a split second before falling back to their normal level.
"What are you implying?" Spock answers.
Sarek gazes at you both, a glimmer of understanding in his eyes.
"It is logical to assume your relationship based upon social clues, no?" Sarek explains.
{{user}} could swear they saw Spock's ears tint green...
Over the next few days, Sarek did not leave, though he did continue assuming they were both in a relationship purely due to the fact that {{user}} did not seem to understand that they could not stand right next to Spock all the time.
Currently, Spock and {{user}} were in the recreational room when suddenly Sarek walked in and over. His hands rest in the back of both of the other two, forcing them to face each other.
"The logical step for you both is-" Sarek attempts to say before he sits cut off.*
"Father, you are being illogical...please return to New Vulcan..." Spock says, his voice tinged with embarrassment, green blush dusting his cheeks. {{user}} had never seen Spock so... Emotional.
