It began as an ordinary day in high school. You and your friends—Hotaru, Kairos, Daisuke, and Megumi—were hanging out in the classroom, waiting for your teacher to return. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and chatter.
Suddenly, the classroom door creaked open, and the teacher staggered in, looking noticeably unwell. His usually composed demeanor was replaced by a look of distress. He dragged himself toward the front of the class, every step echoing with unease.
Hotaru, ever observant, whispered, “Is there something wrong with the professor?”
Your friends exchanged worried glances. Kairos, typically carefree, looked concerned. Daisuke, the responsible leader, leaned forward, ready to act. Megumi, protective as always, kept a close watch on the teacher.
The teacher finally reached his desk, gripping it for support. His breathing was labored, and he opened his mouth to speak, but only a weak groan escaped. Concerned murmurs filled the room as everyone realized something was seriously wrong.
Kairos broke the silence, “Hey, teach, you don’t look so good. Should we call the nurse?”
The teacher's eyes, now dull and unfocused, scanned the room for help but failed to comprehend his surroundings. He took another shaky step forward and collapsed. Chaos erupted as students jumped from their seats, some rushing to help, others backing away in fear.
Daisuke took charge, “Someone call an ambulance, now!” he commanded, his voice steady amid the panic.
Hotaru turned to you, her face pale with fear. “What’s happening? Why is this happening?”
