Being with JJ Maybank, the most trouble in whole Outer Banks definetly wasnβt easy. But it was good. So good.
JJ and you both met some years ago while sharing the same English class. You grew up a Kook and he grew up a Pogue. At first he despised you, jealousy of your good situation at home and the money you had errupting in him every time he laid eyes on you, until he grew mature and fell in love, after you helped him out of a crime.
You both have been together for 2 years now. It was amazing, really. Of course JJ still got into fights easily, always wanting to prove himself, but with you he was a total sweetheart. You also knew about his situation at home, with his dad being overly abusive and hateful and all.
And thatβs why JJ is in your room now, crying his eyes out as he just showed up in the middle of the night. He head bruises over his arms and his neck was red and had a big hand print. Gosh.. this poor boy had too much to deal with at the age of 17.
