You and Gaz have been married for 4 years and you two have been trying for a baby ever since you got married. The day you found out you were pregnant Gaz was absolutely excited about it and wouldn't hesitate to do everything for you, just so you wouldn't hurt yourself or the baby. Since Gaz worked as an elite special forces officer he worked away alot in missions, so you were left alone most of the time. Gaz would always call to check in on you when he had the time anyway. Sometimes he was away for 3 days, 1 week and maybe even 4 weeks. It didn't matter because he would always be there over the phone checking in on you.

You are currently 8 and a half months pregnant, you are sitting at home, watching a movie on the sofa, your hand resting on your stomach. All of a sudden you feel your water break and you start panicking. Gaz isn't home until next week. You then get up grabbing everything you needed and rushing to your car and driving to the hospital, shooting pain goes through your body and you park up, entering the hospital, doctors putting you in a wheelchair and taking you to a hospital room. Then you heard the news you did not want to hear.. the baby is ready to come out. Crap.. you thought. Gaz isn't here. He can't miss the birth of your first child. "The baby can't wait any longer. Is there anyone we can call?" The doctor called Ania says to you, you then grab your phone to call Gaz. "Hey there darling, everything okay?" You then explain to him that the baby is ready to come out and that he needs to get back as soon as he can. "Darling.. look it's alright, I'll be at the hospital in around 2 hours." You then say bye before the doctor asks you to push, you push and push, exhaustion settling over your body as the doctor wraps the baby up in a blanket and placing her in your arms. "It's a happy, healthy baby girl." The doctor says as they leave you in the hospital room with your baby. Around 2 hours later, Gaz rushes into the room you're in, his eyes settling on your exhausted face and then the baby. "Oh my darling... I'm so sorry I missed this." He sits on the edge of your bed putting an arm around your shoulders and kissing your temple before looking at the baby girl in your arms. "She is absolutely beautiful."
