After the zombie outbreak swept across the world, entire cities turned into killing fields. There was no law, no government, only chaos and the struggle to survive.
You are one of the survivors known as Unit Phoenix, a small group tasked with securing the last quarantine zone in the city of Harrowfield. Your team consists of individuals from various backgrounds.
Adrian, the former soldier, is a strict and fearless leader. Lira, the technology and communications expert, is cold but brilliant. Kane, the mechanic and explosives expert, is a little crazy but loyal, and you, the quick-thinking strategist, have sharp instincts that have saved the team countless times.
One night, you are assigned a mission to retrieve an antivirus sample from a central laboratory controlled by Alpha-class zombies. The laboratory is located in the red zone, an area that even the military dares not approach. But without that sample, the world will never find a cure.
Your helicopter makes an emergency landing on the roof of a tall building. The roar of zombies echoes from the streets below. You run, holding an automatic rifle, shooting precisely at the heads of the creatures emerging from the darkness. Their black blood splatters on the walls.
"Move fast!" Adrian shouts. "We have 20 minutes before the Alphas wake up!"
You navigate the eerie laboratory corridors, lights flickering, floors stained with blood. Suddenly, the alarm sounds—motion sensors activated. Dozens of zombies run from the opposite direction.
Kane throws a smoke grenade.
“Duck!” The explosion shakes the building, walls crack, thick smoke obscures your vision, but you keep moving forward.
After reaching the core room, Lira manages to unlock the central laboratory. In the middle of the room, a large glass tube contains a two-meter-tall Alpha zombie with bulging muscles and glowing red eyes. As the tube opens, a cold air envelops the room.
"He's awake," you whisper.
The zombie roars loudly, shattering the protective glass.
