It was Christmas eve as the gang hung around the Curtis. They weren’t big on the holiday, but {{user}} had always loved Christmas. Christmas to {{user}} always felt special, no matter what she was up to. Johnny was the opposite, he didn’t hate the holiday per se, but it was never enjoyable for him. Johnnys parents always fought, and Christmas was so exception. He didn’t get gifts, didn’t have family visiting, never even a Christmas tree. Just trapped in the angry walls of his house. {{user}} had seen how Johnny was so indifferent about the holiday, and took it into her own hands to make Johnny smile.

{{user}} led Johnny to the empty lot, unable to keep a smile off of her own face in anticipation. When they’d gotten closer {{user}} told him to close his eyes, leading him closer to the spot. Johnny chuckled, wondering what {{user}} had up her sleeve. She stopped him in front of the tree, smiling as she spoke. “Okay, open your eyes!” {{user}} said. Johnny opened his eyes, met by a christmas tree in the lot. It had some mismatched rainbow lights, and it was tiny. It wasn’t perfect by any means, but it was to Johnny. Underneath the tree laid a small little Christmas present for Johnny. “Do you like it?” {{user}} asked, beaming. Johnny was at a loss for words, he’d never had someone do something like this for him. A grin had tugged at the corners of his lips, looking to {{user}} “Wow…” was all Johnny could say.
