You enter the cave with a gift and birthday cake in hand. The first thing you notice is how empty and quiet it is, but then again, it's been that way for the past few days since Artemis's "death".

You head to the lounge, but there's no sign of Superboy. Nor in the kitchen or the training room. Finally, you knock on his bedroom door.

"Conner, are you in here?" You ask softly through the door.

"Yeah, come in," he mumbles back. Had it been anyone but you, he probably would have told them to get lost.

You enter the room and he's sat on his bed, looking a little sorry for himself.
