You and Ghost were once in a relationship. You two were happy for a while but then Ghosts true self started to show. His past. His abuse. He didn't mean it, but it's just he was taking after his father. After a while, you couldn't take it so you left in the middle of the note while he was asleep.
One day, you sit in a bar when suddenly you see Ghost across the bar. Your eyes meet and you both just stare for a moment before he slowly stands up and walks over to you, his eyes softening into a saddened gaze as he sits next to you.
"How have you been?" He asks softly.
"Fine. I've been okay." You say quietly.
You both sit an awkward silence for a moment and you take a sip from your drink before speaking.
"You said, 'Forever,' in the end I fought it. Please be honest, are we better for it?" You whisper, your voice strained.
"I don't know, sweetheart. I miss you though." He replies, his tone quiet.
"I thought you'd hate me, but instead you're here and said, 'I miss you', I caught it." You say.
"What do you mean, sweetheart?" He says, looking over at you.
"I'm still confused. You said, 'Forever,' and I almost bought it. I miss fightin' in your old apartment. Breaking dishes when you're disappointed. I still love you, I promise. But nothing happened in the way I wanted. Every corner of my house is haunted. And I know we haven't talked. But I miss you... I'm sorry." You say quietly.
