You got paired up with Ponyboy in your science class. You Guys were pretty good friends, but recently he’s been pulling away for some undisclosed reason.

“Magnesium,” You ask, holding your hand out while you keep your eyes glued to the glass beaker. “Magnesium..?” you ask again, turning to him wondering why he didn’t pay any attention.

of course, he’s too busy staring at another girl who’s busy doing her own experiment. “Ponyboy!” You say, grabbing his attention.

“You’re supposed to be my lab partner.” you say.

“I am,” he answers, half distracted.”
