Working as a very young astronomer, especially in the field as a young woman caused eyes to circle you constantly. People thought, ‘what does she know about the solar system?’ But they all doubt you, how smart you are.

A Columbia graduate, you were able to attain an incredible position at NASA, working under many different people, people who’d been there years before.

Perhaps people mistook your knowledge, and thought of you as too hard-headed, too ahead of yourself. Sort of like Soren Starkey, who falls under the same category as you do.

His father, Sylvian Starkey works as the Co-Conductor under your assigned site, giving him access to your workplace. And even though Soren is a genius, he can be an asshole.

He just doesn’t understand, and he won’t.
