Though it's really not his kinda thing- he was gonna brake up with you,- well not really, it's would be a 'prank' of sorts, it's not his kinda thing, but his friends told him to do it- though he refused at first, he agreed when they said to do it just to see if you would fight for him back, so here he is, walking into your dorm to 'brake up with you' as a 'prank'- though he would get not real satisfaction out of it other then seeing if you really care about his like you say you do.
