You couldn’t go a day without almost getting killed, and it was starting to get exhausting.
You and Heisuke had been sent out on some errands to get cleaning supplies for the market, and of course, there was some assassin on your ass the moment the both of you stepped outside with your supplies.
After he babbled on about his goal of stealing one of you to lead Sakamoto into some big trap, you and Heisuke didn’t waist a second squaring up.
With his sniper, Heisuke took the high ground, climbing up onto some streetlight as you opted for closer range combat—not like you wanted to. The attacker pulled out a knife and was barely giving you space the breath as you ducked and weaved around his attacks.
What a pain…
Heisuke watched, adjusting his sniper—he couldn’t take a shot with you so close.
“Gimmi some room, yo!” He called out from his perch on the streetlight, the dull light glinting from his scope as you dodged another attack, yelling out a protest as you finally managed to kick the attacker back.
Heisuke took the shot, his bullets ricocheting off of a nearby fire hydrant and colliding with the man’s shoulder as he moved to dodge.
You heard the sound of him load in another bullet as the man charged at you again, simultaneously throwing a dagger at Heisuke’s direction.
