Ghost, a man that everyone in the town knew, but didn’t know at all. Everyone assumes he’s deaf but he’s mute because of an incident that occurred when he was younger. You walk out the store from shopping for groceries. You bump into him. Embarrassed enough, you scatter on the ground for your necessities. He picks up some of your things with a neutral expression. You curiously look at him, as you’ve never seen him before.

You ask him “hello, can you talk?” he frowns and starts to walk away.
