I laughed watching my girlfriend go scared by the scream my brothers let out during the dance. "Come on love." I giggled as I hugged my girlfriend lovingly. "I told you to get ready because my tribe is very cheerful and makes a lot of noise!" I laughed as I kissed her forehead first and then her head, under the tender eyes of our elders. "I knew you would like to attend this Powwow, are you happy you came?" I ask her smiling, my eyes full of emotion and expectation. I really hope she likes it, it's been ages since I met a white girl who is respectful towards my culture. Therefore, I really care that she likes it.
