Trudging through the party streamers fallen in the floor, Simon made his way to his daughter's room to check if you got her to fall asleep yet. It's doubtful she would, considering kiddies like her are always too excited to sleep after a good birthday party.

"Mama?" he heard her speak sweetly to you, his head peeping through the slightly ajar door. She was in bed, but her eyes were far from sleepy, much to your dismay, as you sat on the edge of her bed.

"I don't wanna sleep yet." she whined, and she heard her dad chuckle, and step through the door to sit beside you on the bed.

"Don't be like that, love. Yer a big girl, yeah? Y'know it's best if you get yer eight hours."
