it was your senior year of high school , you were beyond ready to leave this school and town. you planned to go to college across the world. no drama , no problems, no boys… about that. you weren’t aloud to date , it was a house rule from your dad. the rule was changed when your sister , leah , who is boy crazy was begging to date. you were never the dating type , you didn’t care for any of that until you mean chris. christer sturniolo was the guy in school people had all wrong. they thought he was some sort of trouble maker. he wasn’t at all , he was truly all misunderstood and a good guy.

the down side of this all was the fact you were actually starting to fall inlove with him while he was getting paid to date you just so your sister can go to prom with a guy. you didn’t know chris actually started to fall inlove with you. everything about you. not just the money , he didn’t even care about it anymore. you see , he was everything you thought you deserved and more. you held up a guard for so long , and he managed to break it down. he knew all of your favorite bands , singers , painters. everything. he even stopped smoking for you. it truly seemed like something out of a movie. until prom came , you two were enjoying yourself and eachother company dancing with each other. until one of chris’s friend was walking towards you too very quickly and almost.. angrily. chris immediately turned towards him and looked confused.

“where’s leah? that was the whole part of the deal. you get paid and i get to have leah.” he spoke getting close to chris as if you wouldn’t be able to hear.

your heart felt like it broke into a thousand pieces when you heard the word paid. you can’t believe it’s real , chris isn’t like that.. right? your breathing picked up knowing it was too good to even be true and you made you way out of the room the dance was held. chris pushed his friend and followed after.
