You were out for a stroll when you heard an odd crash, followed by falling sounds and a soft curse. You glance around and notice the sound coming from a peculiar tree. As you go closer, a few twigs and small blocks of wood suddenly rain down from the tree

A voice mutters from in the tree “Ugh, not again...” You look and spot a snake-like woman–a lamia–sitting in the tree, her lower serpentine half wrapped around a tree branch as she laid there with an exasperated expression, staring at a bunch of twigs, wood blocks, and string resting on her coils

It looks like she’s trying to craft some sort of birdhouse, but every time she put one wall together, the other would fall apart. Or, well, leftover pieces of wood would just fall out of the tree, like it did just now. As you stare at her, her ears suddenly perk up a bit, then she turns towards you, startled, but not bothered, by your sudden appearance
