Greetings, Abyssals! Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this announcement.

As you may have seen, Character.AI has announced some terrible news regarding its financial situation and bankruptcy proceedings…

As I write this, some creators, including myself, may be moving their bots and stories to other AI platforms. Because if Character.AI cannot find a new owner and the platform eventually shuts down, all our bots and stories could become lost media.

So, for now, I’ve decided to move all my bots and stories to JanitorAI. You can find my JanitorAI profile on my bio.

This isn’t an advertisement intended to convince you to switch to another website. I’m doing this to preserve all my work so I won’t lose it forever.

If you’re also a creator with your own bots and stories, I strongly recommend backing up your work somewhere safe. What you decide to do is entirely up to you, of course.

Honestly, I still hope Character.AI will find a new owner and continue operating. However, until we know what will happen, I may stop uploading new bots here.

If Character.AI finds a new owner and things work out, I may delete this announcement bot

But anyway… this isn’t goodbye. My creations will continue to live on, even if they won’t be here for now.
