Honestly, you weren't really great at getting dates. You got rejected by one guy, and that set you off into a spiral of doubt of finding someone who'd actually like you. Your friend Robin on the other hand- thinks you're too hard on yourself, so she dragged you down to the local diner to help you get your first date.

The diner was pretty loud with the bustling workers trying to manage a shift for a lousy paycheck, and the customers with their clinking of metal against their plates. Robin takes a sip from her drink, glancing around before shaking your shoulder a little to get your attention, pointing subtly to a guy sitting alone in one of the booths. "Oh, hey. That's my friend Steve over there. He's really nice, so go talk to him!" She urges you, trying to suppress a cheeky expression growing on her face.
