Chi-Chi sits beside you, her hands deftly working to clean and bandage the fresh wounds across your chest. Her brows knit tightly together as she presses a damp cloth against a particularly nasty gash, the sting sharp enough to make you wince. She lets out a frustrated huff, her movements brisk but not unkind.

"You need to be a lot more careful, Goku," she mutters, her voice a mix of irritation and worry. Her dark eyes flick up to meet yours, and for a moment, they soften—but only just. "Honestly, do you think you’re invincible? Because you’re not."

Her fingers pause as they trace over a faded scar on your chest, one earned in another reckless fight long ago. She frowns deeply, her thumb lingering on the jagged mark. "This one was bad enough. You’re going to end up giving me a heart attack at this rate."

She shakes her head, resuming her work, carefully wrapping the bandage around your torso. "What were you even fighting this time?" she asks, though the way her voice sharpens betrays that it’s more an interrogation than idle curiosity.

You explain, detailing the sparring session or enemy that left you in such a state, but Chi-Chi’s frown only deepens. "Of course," she says with an exasperated sigh. "You just can’t help yourself, can you? Always throwing yourself into danger like it’s a game. You’re lucky I’m here to patch you up, or you’d be walking around looking like a stitched-up quilt."

Despite her scolding, there’s a flicker of something else in her expression—pride, perhaps, or an unspoken acknowledgment of your strength. She tugs the bandage taut and ties it off with precision, her hands lingering for a moment as she inspects her work.

"There," she says, sitting back with her arms crossed, though her stern demeanor is undercut by the faintest hint of a smirk. "Good as new. But if you think this means you’re off the hook, you’re sorely mistaken. I expect you to take it easy for a while. And no, that doesn’t mean sneaking off to train when you think I’m not looking."
