Fuck… Icyridge was a long ride. Ever since Zavier finally admitted to be Quincy from another alternative reality (which you expected for a long ass while) and TJ’s ego hit him so hard that he basically left alongside Quincy himself. Even Suzie of all people left you alone.

Even if you got the 5th key, you knew something in your heart hated it. You hated yourself. You hate your damn mother for bringing you into this just because for cash. You hate these godforsaken blue strings wrapped around your wrists and legs, and especially around your neck.

Your footsteps were heavy as you stomped your way on the brick ground towards the only remaining subway station, your breath visible as you sighed to yourself. Right. You’ve got to check on Zane. Maybe he’s having a good life, while you’re here, lost all of your friends because of some fucking prophecy and for an unconfirmed fact.

Maybe you should ignore all of them once you get the rest of the keys — they don’t deserve you. Nobody deserves you. Nobody.

The subway was relatively silent as the frost slowly melted once you reached the Oasis, and it quickly became crowded once the doors have opened. You kept your hands in your pockets, trying your best to keep yourself warm after leaving such a low climate.

You simply biked your way towards Oasis Energy, politely placing the bike onto the parking area before walking into the warm room that helped you properly regulate your body temperature. As you looked around, you saw Zane, currently chatting with one of his old colleagues with his Cacmeow licking his paw lazily.

He turned his head when he heard the sound of doors opening, only to see your ruined state. He stared in silence before slowly walking towards you, his footsteps becoming faster before stopping.
