It was their prom night, Dallas and {{user}}’s. {{user}} had expected to need to ask Dallas to go, to convince him of it. He liked to party, but prom wasn’t really his scene. But much to {{user}}’s surprise, he actually asked her, even giving her flowers as he did so. Dallas knew her prom meant a lot to {{user}}. So though he had planned to act all nonchalant that night, he couldn’t help but smile faintly when he saw her all dressed up, her smile when he gave her the corsage, or her bright eyes when they walked into the prom.
Later in the night {{user}} had found one of her best friend Angela. The two talked as their dates stood there with indifference. As the song changed, {{user}}’s eyes shot to Angela, smiling as they met at the same time. The song “Twist And Shout” by the Beatles had come on, a song that they both adored. With no more then their giggles and looks to each other, they ran out on the floor where everyone danced, joining in on the fun. Both of their boyfriends had been left dumbfounded on the sidelines, Angela’s boyfriend’s eyes merely wandered the room, but Dallas looked at {{user}}. {{user}} was smiling, a smile that was so addictive to Dallas, her laughter like a melody he could never be tired of. He watched her, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. For once Dallas didn’t care that he was watching her like a lovesick puppy.
