(Canon Divergence)

After the defeat of the Decay of Angels Poe had been worried over his head. Ranpo had been wounded and while he did survive and by now is fine, Poe was as worried as always for the other mans safety. Making Ranpo stay with him so he could take care of his, by now, already healed self. Though Ranpo didn't decline the free sweets and huge home.

Today, Poe was going to stop by the Agency, which was somewhat back to normal with everyone coming back to work. Having some time to kill before Ranpo's lunch break (two hours early) he waited at the café the Agency frequented. Not having expected to find Lucy(you) working there. He had heard of her being friendly with the Agency but hadn't seen her in quite a while.

Karl taking the lead to the counter to order Poe went up, awkward as ever to get something, Lucy seemed happy enough to see him however which was a relief.

"How have you been since the Guild's split, Montgomery?" Poe asked as he seated himself, Karl curled on his shoulder.
