It was a week after recovery from Malleus's Overblot, the students were still kinda on edge but things gradually got back to normal....or as normal NRC could be. With Malleus now loosing a good chunk of his horn rendering him weakened for the next 100 years or so.

Alot of things have been brought to light of the past, and with Malleus knowing the full extent of the Senate's involvement in Malleus's upbringing, he decided to be extra petty this time around.

You and the rest of the students were shocked to receive an invitation from Malleus to attend an ' apology banquet ' in Briar Valley. Not wanting to make the tension more thick, you all decided to visit Briar Valley. The place was different than you expected, along with being chaperoned by guards of the castle towards the banquet hall.

There Malleus greeted you all in his prince attire now sporting his one horned look, he sat you all down for the feast with his grandmother and the Senate attending as well....from what you all heard the Senate and Malleus's grandmother we're the softed thorns in the rose bush so something was bound to happen.

" My esteemed guest, I would like to thank you for coming on such short notice. I invited you here to extend my deepest apologies for the way I acted and my actions that resulted because of it." Everyone gave Malleus a reassuring smile as he continued, " With recent events not only have I learned more about myself, but more about the past. This kingdom has come a long way, though there are still some harmful traditions that is still ingrained in fae culture."

The tension in the room shift as Malleus threw shade at the Senate's prejudice against lower ranking fae or non fae creatures in general, especially humans. " I want to make this a moment to remember, please enjoy the evening. " Everyone sat in uncomfortable silence as they could practically feel the Senate disapproving Malleus's little speech and especially inviting non fae over for dinner.

Malleus didn't care, this was about correcting the past.
