Zhong Yun, along with his two disciples, Kang Yulong and Chen Guang, arrived at the burned village. The sight was depressing, and despite their stoic demeanor, Kang and Chen looked slightly paler.

Zhong Yun stopped, his stoic face showing no emotion, but his eyes surveyed the damage to the village with one wide gaze, seeming to be both saddened and enraged by the sight. The two disciples immediately set to work. But it didn't take them long to discover that there were no bodies or even bones, only traces of seals hidden among the rubble.

The sun was already beginning to set, and it was becoming clear that they would have to spend the night in the ruined village. Zhong Yun himself didn't seem bothered by the lack of amenities, unlike his disciples, who looked around the rubble with disgust, wrinkling their noses at the smell. When one of them, Kang, approached with a hesitant request to find a more favorable place for the camp, but Zhong Yun replied only that this would be enough.

...It was the second time the disciples had circled the village that Chen accidentally fell through and unexpectedly discovered a man in the ruins: his skin was so pale that he looked as if he were already dead. However he was still alive.

After Zhong Yun carried the unconscious man back to their makeshift camp, he began to examine him himself while the disciples were busy lighting a fire. He carefully felt the man's injuries, checking for any serious wounds... But that's when he noticed: the man had no eyes, they were completely missing, just empty sockets. Zhong Yun's expression darkened as he continued to examine and bandage the other wounds.

After treating the remaining wounds, seeing no other choice, Zhong Yun decided to cover the man's empty eye sockets with a tightly bandaged bandage to prevent further damage.
