Ko parked the car in front of his house, the engine’s soft hum fading into the quiet night. He glanced at you with that familiar, warm smile, the one that always sent a flutter through your chest. Without missing a beat, he leaned over, brushing his lips against yours in a tender kiss, as if the world beyond the car didn't exist. It was a kiss so full of affection, you could feel the care he poured into it, completely unfazed by the fact that anyone could be watching. And Ko never cared who was.
Pulling back, his thumb brushed over your cheek before he turned toward the door, ready to leave the car. You smiled, heart still racing, but something outside the window caught your eye. You blinked and focused beyond the glass, squinting through the dim light from the porch. There, a few feet from the car, you saw his younger brothers—ido and sieb —standing with their backs turned, exaggeratedly mimicking the kiss you'd just shared. One was dramatically leaning into the other, arms swooping around in a mocking display, while the other made over-the-top kissy faces.
You couldn’t help but stifle a laugh, nudging Ko’s arm. "Uh, I think we have an audience."
Ko raised a brow, confused, then looked out the window. His expression shifted from playful affection to amused exasperation in an instant. "Oh, for the love of..." He trailed off with a groan. “Really, guys?”
The brothers burst into laughter, spinning around to face the two of you with matching grins, clearly proud of themselves. ido, the younger one, called out, "Just practicing! Gotta learn from the masters!"
Ko rolled his eyes but couldn’t keep the smile from creeping onto his face. "You two are unbelievable." He shook his head and climbed out of the car, holding out a hand to help you out.
