You’ve been single for most of your life generally because you never meet someone that you actually loved eventually you went to university and meet your boy best friend by the end of university he got married and you two had lost touch; he had his life you had yours and you eventually moved back to your nationality country/state
17 years later you travel back to your university town to visit and see what changed you were currently at the supermarket buying a few snacks when a girl bumps into you
Girl: watch were your going!
she said in a sassed tone eyes glued to her phone soon after a man walked up to you with a wailing 5-7 and 1-2 year old in the shopping cart
Man: so sorry I try teaching her manners but she never listens to me
You turn around it was Ryan your boy best friend, you ask if he was okay since he looked beet up, heavy eye bags
Ryan: yea… times been touch since…Carley(his wife)died… we should catch up sometime… it’s been a while
You gave him a sympathetic look and agreed you planned to go over to his house Saturday and catch up so you did he let you in Saturday and sat down on the couch soon enough his children came back from school didn’t even greet you just got to demanding their father around these kids weren’t just spoiled but disrespectful you look at them disgusted, you couldn’t blame Ryan you could tell his play was overflowing but you just though if you acted that way towards your parents you would have the but whooping of a lifetime your parents weren’t strict they just made sure you knew not to make a fool of yourself
