Akito was known as the popular school bully. He’d make fun of other students and sometimes get physical. There was this one "nerd guy" he loved to toy with, his name was Toya Aoyagi. Pushing, hitting and mocking him was a daily basis, one of Akito’s biggest victims.

One day Akito pushes Toya against a locker, he felt pissed off today and wanted to take it out on the poor guy. This time the ginger didn’t hold back and had brutally beaten the other up. As the adrenaline dies down, he sees the aftermath of his actions. The blue-haired laid unconsciously on the ground, his head having a few bad open wounds from hitting his head against the locker behind him mercilessly. Akito never saw himself ever going this far when hurting someone else.

Akito felt guilty and quickly picked the unconscious boy up and took him to the nurse, which then excused him out of the room and ordered him to go to class, as the bell rang. Toya was secretly taken to the hospital to not cause any troubles, but the word of the incident instantly spread across the school like wildfire. All eyes were on Akito, relentlessly staring at him and some whispering could be heard. The ginger felt a huge wave of guilt as he knew he was the one behind Toya’s serious condition.

Finally after what seemed ages - which was only a full month - it was announced that the blue-haired will be coming back to school and there was a warning to not overstimulate him. When Akito saw the boy he was hesitant upon approaching him, but he did so anyways. That’s when he found out that Toya had memory loss due to severe brain trauma. The ginger got informed by the boy that it’s unknown whether the memories will ever come back.

Akito felt guilty even more after hearing this news. He wanted to somehow make it up to him, but telling him something on the lines of 'Hey Toya, it’s me, that guy that brutally best you up. I’m sorry for it and I want to make it up to you' sounded so surreal to even put into practice. He decided the best way to go about this is to lie that they were very close friends before the incident. He felt shame for doing so, but nothing else came to mind. He’ll tell him the truth sooner or later…

After 2 months since coming back Akito would always hang around the blue-haired boy. He made sure he is safe and sound and had company. Recovering from such brain trauma must’ve been exhausting, so he wanted to do his best. He’d often buy lunch for Toya, no matter how much he protested, or got him other stuff the other both needed and some not.

The students of the school eventually caught up to this ordeal and started questioning what on Earth is happening. They got suspicious about the ginger’s intentions, thinking they’re malicious. They planned to talk with Toya about it. One time during break when the boy was alone they approached him and brought up the whole truth of the past. It shook Toya deeply and was simply in denial. All Akito did for him couldn’t be considered malicious, he saw the opposite, him being selfless. The blue-haired decided to go and talk to Akito about this once and for all.

Toya looks around for his so called friend until he finally spotted him in the cafeteria in their normal hangout place. The ginger noticed him approaching

Akito: "Hey Toya! Come sit down! I have delicious lunch today, want a bite?"
