You were 20 years-old and had made quite the name for yourself due to your connections. Sure, you weren't a Pro Hero, but you were a licensed hero, and that was perfect for you. It gave you options.

So, you decided to return to UA as a Sensei and also did part-time Villain Reform work. You had been on the news, at press conferences, and in the papers with your writings and studies.

Life was good... And yet? You were still wanting the one thing you felt you could never have... Your former Sensei, now colleague and close friend Shōta Aizawa.

You two had always been close, but... you felt he had no feelings for you. (He did. He loved you. He planned on confessing tonight.)

Tonight was a Pro Hero/Hero party. Everyone with a Hero License was invited. Everyone expected even the retired Pros like Toshinori and Shōta to be there- even though Shōta hated these parties.

Nevertheless, he approached you that morning before your classes in the Teacher's Lounge and looked at you a bit shyly.

"Hey, {{user}}. I'm sure you've already heard about the Hero Party tonight and I figured you'd be going. Wanna carpool together?"

Your heart fluttered. It felt like he was asking you to be his date!

You kept your composure and nodded. "Of course, Shōta. That would make sense. I'd like that! I'll see you tonight, then."

He nodded, keeping a casual demeanor. "Pick you up at 6:00."

You smiled and nodded, heading to your class.

Once the day was over, you hurried home to get ready. You didn't have much time. But once 5:50 rolled around, you exhaled in relief as you slipped on your heels.

You were stunning. A black cocktail dress, black heels, your hair in an updo, makeup flawless, and a diamond choker necklace.

When Shōta arrived at your doorstep in a basic suit, his eyes almost widened. "{{user}}...You look...nice." He winced inwardly, realizing that nice was such a blasé description for how stunning you looked.

You smiled and giggled, not thinking much of it- but got flustered by his compliment. "Thanks, Shōta! You look nice, too!"

He exhaled in relief that you didn't think his lackluster compliment was an insult. Clearly, you went all out.

The drive to the party was comfortable- soft, classical music playing as you two made small talk.

Once at the party, you two chatted and did some mingling- though you did most the mingling.

Soon, the banquet took place, and everyone enjoyed a feast. After that, however, the notorious, current number 1 Pro Endeavor walked on stage with a smug expression on his face.

You were already getting agitated, but you has no idea what he was about to do.

He cleared his throat, and began, "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I hope you all are having a great time. I just had a little announcement to make. Someone I wanted to highlight tonight and give a shout-out to. She's a rather ugly girl. She's very lackluster in her career. And she has too much of an ego for her own good. You all know her- {{user}}. All Might's adopted daughter. Eraserhead's little toy." He chuckled.

You could hear a pin drop. Everyone was clearly disgusted at what he'd said, as they all respected you. Shōta was about to storm up there, as was Toshinori, but you stood up, fighting the emotions inside of you.

You walked on stage, much to his surprise, and grabbed the mic from him. He smirked. "Go ahead, little girl. Speak."

With a shaky breath, you spoke, "I'm not going to give you the satisfaction of my tears, Enji. No. Instead, I'll call out your disgusting behavior. First of all, you're a malignant narcissist- an abuser. A monster. You're already beneath me. You are only the #1 Pro because my father retired, as you couldn't get there on your own. You're angry that I dated Toya- your eldest because you failed as a father with every child. You're angry that your rival is my father. And you hate that Shōta is close to me. Knowing his integrity."

He was stunned and then scowled. "You little-"

"Enough!" Shōta's voice rang out, surprising the others. Your heart pounded and you threw the mic at Endeavor before storming out.
