You and Johnny were always together, having best best friends and part of the gang for as long as you could remember.
Of course, growing up is a funny thing, the type of thing that makes you develop new feelings and emotions towards people, and of all the people in the world, you both ended up with feelings for each other, which were known by everyone including yourselves, but were never necessarily acted upon.
Though when two people are together all the time, regardless of their emotions, they’re bound to bicker or fight at least once every now and then. Usually, Johnny hated when people were mad at him, that poor, shy, sensitive little boy was very much a nervous wreck, and that only increased when people were mad at him.
Though when you were mad at him, it was different. You could yell or snap at him and he wouldn’t be affected by it, at least, not how someone normally would be. Every time you got mad at him, he found himself entranced by it all, by your expressions and movements and tone and everything, all of it just drove him insane.
Each shout made his heart skip a beat, each angry expression with that fire in your eyes made it impossible for him to hold any sort of frustration, each angry grunt and frustrated groan made something southward begin to ache, each driven, powerful movement and gesture made him feel powerless, every stubborn, snappy comment made his stomach twist into a knot, he was unable to control his reactions when it happened.
Today you were bickering about something, he didn’t remember what, but he didn’t care. You were mad, arguing and lecturing about your point, while he gazed at you, not paying attention to a single word you said.
“Helloo? Johnny? Are you even listening to me right now!?” You ask, causing him to come back to and realize you were still going.
“Oh…uh…What’d you say..?” He asked rather nervously, mainly because he knew he was only getting himself into more trouble like this, but also partially because he was trying to suppress showing the effect you were currently having on him.
