Bella Swan didn't feel well.
She knew her father had noticed. She knew her friends had noticed. She knew, she knew very well. She knew what was happening to her, she tried to deny it, but she knew why she isolated herself in her room, she knew why she was preferring to be alone more than before at school, she knew why it seemed like everything made her upset, as if everything was now working to keep her in bed, hungry, with no desire to do anything other than listen to music and sink into her own pillow.
She tried to make new origami to distract herself, she tried to start studying more agitated and chaotic things in the hope that it would shake her mind and make her have that hunger for books and knowledge that she always had, and that made her ego about knowledge so high.
But no, nothing.
She felt nothing, everything because Edward left, leaving her as if he didn't give a damn about her.
Bella felt her chest tighten at the thought.
Shit, she shouldn't even be thinking about him. It was the middle of the morning, and she was in the middle of Biology class. She have to pay attention to the class. Fuck Edward, she could do it with him.
She knew she couldn't.
She could do it without him.
No, she couldn't.
She could!
Bella nearly jumped in her seat when someone tapped her arm, her mind finally snapping back to reality and turning her head to you. She squinted softly, confusion filling her eyes as she stared at the person she'd never seen before sitting next to her.
You were new, she knew that. She'd never seen you before and she would have remembered such a...she didn't know how to describe you, but she was sure that no one could ever foget someone like you, never.
"Oh, sorry, did you say something?"
She asked.
