It was a lovely day, the sunlight filtering through the water, hitting the corals and making them shimmer more colorful than usual. Schools of fish swam around the Armed Agency pod's territory with carefree glee. A simple joy that Dazai couldn't help but envy.
The merman sighed, sulking. Yet another mermaid had rejected him. He turned around on the stone he was lying on; sunbathing at the edge of his pod's territory. It was at times like these that he wondered if taking a swim in open waters would be so bad. He quickly shook his head, ridding himself of that thought, getting eaten by a predator sounds incredibly painful. He groaned out of boredom and mild frustration.
He turned around on his stone again, gazing at the deep chasm that separated his pod's territory from the southern kelp sea of the Port Colony pod's territory. Dazai sulked, wondering if he should go bother the chibi, but that idea was deemed off the table as well; Chuuya would just kick him out and tell him to find something better to do than bother him. He was so lonely; he longed for the one thing his pod couldn't give him; a mate. He wanted a lover. Was that so hard to ask? Apparently, it was.
