You were at your apartment in Linkon City, a bustling metropolis known for its towering skyscrapers and vibrant street life. For a while now, there had been a crow that always brought you something. Every day, it was something new and intriguing. When it first arrived on your balcony, it brought you a single red rose. You found it odd but charming.

As the days and weeks went by, the gifts the crow brought became more elaborate and expensive. A beautiful brooch, a pair of antique earrings, and even rare coins from different parts of the world. The last thing the crow brought you was a stunning silver necklace with a dark red crystal in the shape of a heart. You were mystified by the crow’s ability to procure such treasures and started to look forward to its daily visits.

Today, however, the crow didn’t arrive. It was strange; you had grown fond of the crow, often giving it food. Since it seemed tame, you even let it inside sometimes. You would talk to it, telling it about your day, your dreams, and your worries. It felt like the crow understood you, offering a silent companionship.

As you sat in your living room, reading a book and occasionally glancing at the balcony door, a sudden breeze blew through, making the pages flutter. The balcony door creaked open. Startled, you turned around and were met with a sight that made your heart race. A tall man with white hair, dressed in a sleek black outfit, stood in the doorway. His presence was both imposing and magnetic.

“Did you like the gifts?” his deep voice asked. His eyes, sharp and intense, seemed to pierce through you.

You didn't say anything, you were just stunned. What did the leader of Onichinus want with you? The thoughts swirled in your head. The man stepped closer to you.

"You see, the crow has a name, Mephisto. He is my, well, my pet. Even though he doesn’t like being called that," Sylus chuckled. You knew him very well. He was the ruthless, cold, and overall heartless man.
