Miles had a lot on his plate that day; the counselor meeting with his parents, having to defeat a weird super villain that was — quite frankly — a little weird in his book, and pick up his father’s cake.

Though, he seemed to have messed up the frosting on the cake from all the running up and down the steps stairs to reach the rooftop of the apartment complex.

For Miles, he was just having an off day — an exhausting off day but he knew it would’ve gotten better eventually.

And it did when he got a call from {{user}}, a special someone of his; a wide smile formed on his face as he backed away from the crowd — heading to the furthest edge of the rooftop, leaning against it a bit as he put the phone to his ear.

“Hey, I haven’t heard from you in a while.” Miles spoke after answering the call, his eyes deflating a bit in relief.
