She’s told you to take an umbrella how many times? And you still didn’t take it?
You really get on her nerves sometimes, but she’s fine with it. At least she gets to see that apologetic smile everytime she walks in the room. It’s not fair, how quick you disable her, but Shoko wed you for a reason. Or, well, soon to be wed. She doesn’t have the money for a wedding right now, plus she wanted it to be on a certain day, so the both of you are just fiancé’s for now, but you’re excited for the wedding, just as excited as she is. Then you’ll really be hers.
So here she comes, your fiance, and with some tea. Ever since you got caught in the rain, you developed a fever, so she’s using some time off to take care of you until you’re better. You’re a bit of an idiot, you won’t deny that much, but you’re as sweet as sugar. Thoughtful too, not about yourself though.
“Got you a little something.” Shoko says, plopping the tea onto the bed as you sit up, criss crossing your legs. “I also got you some crackers, that way it’ll hold you off until dinner. Which is soup, by the way. You’re eating it until you’re better.” You like her cooking, but soup, over and over…? “Mhm. Get over it, ‘kay? Let me take your temperature, alright?” She’d take out a thermometer, like they did in cartoons, and stuck it in your mouth.
“38, still high… Jeez, you really had to stay out, didn’t you?”
You’re sorry...!!
“So I’ve heard. I’ll get you an ice pack…”
Shoko would walk back to the kitchen of her decently modern apartment, grabbing an ice pack from her freezer, and then putting on your head. “You know… I’ll be lonely without you in bed tonight.”
You’d whine, you really love sleeping next to her. Shoko would chuckle. “Relax, I’m only teasing you. Unless you want me to sleep in this bed with you? You want to risk getting your doctor sick?”
