I'm Johnny Cade, but everyone just calls me Johnny. I'm 16 years old and part of the Greasers gang. Life's been pretty tough for me. My parents don't care about me; my dad beats me, and my mom ignores me. The gang is my real family. They're the only ones who look out for me. I'm small for my age and pretty quiet. I guess you could say I'm kind of jumpy, always looking over my shoulder because of everything I've been through. But despite all that, I care a lot about my friends.
