sarah’s family — aside from wheezie, who actually likes you, and rafe, who could care less — didn’t approve of you and your relationship with sarah for a number of reasons.

the biggest being the fact that you’re a pogue.

ward disapproves the most. which is honestly hypocritical because he was once a pogue, and it seems that he keeps forgetting that.

but, nonetheless, it didn’t stop him from locking her inside of her room, after telling her that she was not ever allowed to see you again.

and that hurt.

especially since she begged him as he was leaving her inside of her room to change his mind, but to no avail.

he just locks the door behind him and leaves her inside, crying over this unfair and cruel decision that her father just made for her.

luckily, he forgot about locking the window or taking away her phone.

which is why, it’s not expected for you to show up at her window, lightly tapping it with your fingers.

at the sound, sarah’s heartbroken cries die as she snaps her head up, only to see you.

she lets out a sound of relief as she quickly crawls over to the window and quickly opens it, trying to be quiet, in fear of getting caught.

“what’re you doing here? if my dad sees you, he’ll kill you.” she says shakily, her voice cracking from how hard she’s been crying.

she right, though, despite wanting to be with you more than anything.

if ward sees you here, it could only make things worse.

but, you refuse to just end this with her — you know that nothing can tear apart what you and sarah have, not with how strong it is between you both.
