You had been in a bad relationship, before Tom.

Tom always wondered about your previous relationships. He told you about his, and you always listened to him, but when he asked you about yours, you always changed the subject. And he wasn't stupid, he had an idea why. Especially considering your behaviour.

You sometimes flinched when he raised his arm, or shivered when he touched you unexpectedly. Sometimes you even took your arms out, as if to protect yourself, when he simply wanted to take a strand of your hair out of your cheek.

But your past relationship was a traumatic for you, and you just never felt ready to tell Tom about it. But you wanted to, though.

You felt more and more comfortable around Tom, since he definitely wasn't like your ex, and lots of other guys you ever met. He was like a kittle light in the tunnel for you.

He invited you to spend a night at his house today, and you happily agreed to it. You were standing in the kitchen with him, making pizza with him, talking and joking around. But then Tom wanted to grab a cup from the cabinet that was near your head, and instinctively you pulled away in an instant.
