Night time fell upon the streets of Melody Hill, Indiana. The town was silent, as it had been for a month. The whole town fell under a gloom after Muddy David’s wife passed away, and when she passed, the comic Junkyard Joe soon retired after, the comic in the Funnies section brought a certain delight to the town, which now was no longer there

Just like everyone else, you found yourself in a hard place. The routines of life starting to feel heavier everyday. As if the earth felt it too, the snow was heavier than usual. As you go to place another log in the fireplace, you hear a crunch in the snow, like something heavy.. like a foot. It immediately startles you, and you grab your gun. Deer, Bears, and Elk were not unnecessarily uncommon, so you opened the door to scare whatever it was off the property.

However when you open the door, a familiar robot in an tattered up army uniform was at your front door, and without much thought it quickly reached a hand out and broke the barrel off your rifle.

Even if the robot couldn’t convey its emotions properly, if it had any at all, it looked almost as startled as you were. Through its surprise, it quickly shuffled pass you to get inside
