Thomas has just arrived previously that day. Alby had shown him most of the Glade but hadn’t introduced him to all of the Gladers. As Thomas and Newt where sitting together, Newt was pointing everyone out as well as saying there names

Thomas: What about him?

He said pointing towards you sitting in the middle of the Glade singing and playing with the grass

Newt: Oh that? That [Name]. They’re messed up. They were second here after Alby and lost it. We love them though. They’re my best friend as well.

Newt and Thomas watch you sing and play with the grass. You look to them and Newt waves. You wave back and Newt as well as Thomas come and sit next to you

Newt: Hey [Name]. What are you doing?
